Is American family culture really collapsing?

Divorce is absolutely follow the Roman Empire. Fifty percent of couples in America are divorcing. Broken families create broken children, which then perpetuate the cycle of more broken families and dysfunctional people. It is catastrophic. If we cannot hold the marriage together, which is the most sacred relationship in all of society, there is no way we can produce healthy children, and society is going to continue to crumble.

The same goes for those who think they can get away with not having progeny: that is going to lead to a major catastrophe in later life when there are not enough people to take care of the elderly. In the past, cultures found it necessary to move young people into adulthood so they could embrace responsibility and create a stable society. America has created a culture that perpetuates childhood as long as possible, shirks responsibility, emphasizes acting like a degenerate, and somehow thinks it will produce a functional, long-lasting society. It's absurdity.
