Is there any hope for America?

There is a lot of hope for America. St Paisios said that America will go through some dark days, but one day it will be holy, so we are awaiting those times. The reality is that there are probably some serious hardships awaiting us. One of the main problems in America is that the life of faith has been replaced with a life of politics and social media, and we do not have a unified faith, belief, and identity in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Any country built on any other foundation, political ideology or whatever it may be, is not going to last. The longest standing empire was the Byzantine Empire, the greatest empire that ever existed, and it was built around the church. That has to be the center of the people's lives and the life of the family: a healthy church, healthy families, healthy marriages, and then you have a healthy country and nation.

So run to your local Orthodox church, get involved, strengthen your soul, build a community, build a healthy marriage, and have wonderful children.
