Is having a pet the same as having kids?
This one hits close to my heart. When you have real babies, they require all of your time and energy, not for a day or two, but for months and even years on end. They cannot exist in any way, shape, or form without you 24/7. So the idea that somebody has an animal that is largely self-sufficient and somehow equates that to having an actual child: there's no correlation. There is no correlation between a real human baby and a so-called fur baby. It is an American delusion.
