How do I talk to my wife about not feeling respected?

The only way to figure that out is by talking with your wife. Carve out an hour of time, sit down with her, and say: I love you and I am devoted to you, and I want to enter paradise with you. But I do not feel that you have the respect for me that I would like to have as the husband and leader of this family. What is it that I am doing that is causing you not to respect me?

And then the husband needs to listen. Your wife will tell you: you want to know what it is? It is this, this, and this. You just let her talk. You do not offer correction. You do not say, that is unreasonable, or, I disagree with that. You just listen to what your wife is saying. Maybe certain aspects of it will be off, but I guarantee you the bulk, 80 plus percent of what your wife says, is really from the depths of her heart and is real, honest feedback.
