Why do I face more spiritual struggle as an Orthodox Christian than my Protestant friends seem to?

One of the Greek elders was asked: Elder, why do the Protestant missionaries seem so peaceful? We Orthodox really struggle to find peace. And he said: my child, when you tie up a little lamb, do you tie the whole thing up or just one leg? Just one leg. So it is with the Protestants, he said. The devil knows that he has them tied up with heresy, and so he leaves them alone. But we Orthodox have the faith, and so the devil is always battling against us.
