Why do I always need to be right in arguments?

So many men need to be right all the time. They need to prove their point in arguments, they can't stand being corrected, and they have to prove to other people that they're always in the right. Being right all the time is the byproduct of egotism, and it's definitely D-tier. If you have self-confidence, you say what you need to say. Some people will accept it, some will reject it, and you have to be okay with it either way. Those who go out of their way to prove themselves right all the time are just egotists.
