What does the Orthodox Church think of ecumenism?

We would follow the words of Fr George Calciu, who said ecumenism is a super heresy. A lot of ecumenical dialogue is, "What do we have in common?" Well, that's not really our view. Our view is that we have the truth. Is it possible that somebody outside of Orthodoxy has some of the truth? Well, of course. If somebody believes in the Holy Trinity and professes the Nicene Creed, they are professing our Creed.

But that doesn't mean they're in the Church. It doesn't mean they have the fullness of truth. It does not mean they have the sacraments. So what our dialogue should really be is: repent and come back into the Church. Not, "Let's look at my notes and you look at your notes and see what we share in common." What's the benefit of that? In fact, it's one of the great ironies of the ecumenical dialogues that nothing happens with them. Maybe it's just a scam so that people can go on vacations and hang out for a week and have a bunch of buffet food.
