Is American politics rigged against ordinary people?

In some ways, we have a faux idea of politics. I often relate politics today to wrestling, because in wrestling you know it's fake, and in politics people today for some reason think that it's real. The reality is that there are people with vast amounts of money who are influencing the political trajectory in this country, and you and I are not part of those people.

It's not that you have millions of dollars. It's that you have tens of millions of dollars, which we simply don't have. This is the way the political system has been set up. When politics allows lobbying and corporate interests and massive donations, it rules out the interests of everyday people.
