How should you handle discipline and conflict with kids at bedtime?

It is good to avoid conflict with your children in the evening, right around the bedtime routine, when they absolutely are going to make you want to have conflict with them. At the end of the day you have the least amount of patience and you need the most amount of patience. If you have to reprimand or discipline them before bed because they are not listening, make sure you get lots of hugs when you lay them down. Make sure the last interaction they have with you at the end of the day is an I love you.
