Can the devil force me to sin?

No. The devil cannot handcuff us. The devil can only make suggestions. If a demon presents a lustful thought or image to our mind, or begins to whisper to us, this does not mean we are handcuffed. It is merely the devil handing us the handcuffs. We handcuff ourselves when we begin to entertain the thoughts, turn them over in our mind, and say, that's a good looking thought, I like that, and then begin to think, how can I accomplish that?

What do I need to do to bring that to reality? At that point, we've put the shackles on ourselves. The devil cannot shackle us. We are free willed beings created in the image of God, and that is incredibly important to remember. The last thing to keep in mind: the end result of interacting with a demonic entity is always the same. You will feel agitated, angry, despairing, lustful, prideful, egotistical. You take that energy into yourself and begin to experience that agitated state within your very being.
