Is hustle culture and the grind actually bad for me?
Look at a lot of the nonsense on YouTube being sold to young men in the last couple of years: the grind, the hustle, this absolutely insane lifestyle where you're sitting in front of a computer 12 to 15 hours every day, grinding away, as if this hustle lifestyle is your calling in life. That's not human. It's antithetical to being human. Then people ask, why do we have so much depression and anxiety, why do we need medication, why do we suffer from all these passions to such a great degree?
Because people's lives are completely out of whack: physically, mentally, dopamine, everything else, all over the place. It's a whole existence where I think the devil keeps people amped up and maxed out. And then we go, man, we suffer from anxiety a lot today. A lot of it is just the circumstances in which we live.
