What I would say to anyone about prayer is: really focus on the words. Don't just read the words, pay attention to the words. That's why I tell people to set a timer and say their prayer rule according to the timer, so they're not trying to rush through or accomplish ten pages or whatever else. So slow down. Just slow down and focus on what you're saying.
